Alumni Scholarship

Waushara County 4-H Alumni Association Scholarship

Two $100 scholarships are available to a graduating/graduated Waushara County 4-H member who is currently enrolled in classes at an institution of post high-school education at the time of application. Scholarship will be paid directly to the recipient.

General selection criteria:

  1. applying what was learned
  2. demonstrated leadership
  3. sense of direction in furthering education

Selection procedure:

  1. Applicant is to secure a letter of recommendation from someone familiar with their accomplishments and future career goals. The letter of reference is not to come from a parent/guardian of the applicant or the 4-H Educator. The letter of recommendation should be submitted with the application.
  2. Applications and letter of reference are to be received no later than April 1 5th. Forms can be hand delivered to the UW Extension office or mailed to UW-Extension, 380 S. Townline Road, Wautoma, WI 54982.
  3. Recipients are eligible to receive a maximum of two scholarships
